What is a web proxy?
It fetches a page through a relay server and displays it in your browser. It may help access a site your network cannot reach directly, but some sites block proxies or need unsupported features.
How do I open a blocked website without software?
Enter a valid address in the form and select Open website. If it fails, check the address or try a simpler page. A web proxy cannot bypass every restriction.
Does the YouTube proxy play videos?
You can try the YouTube shortcut, but video playback and sign-in may not work through the web proxy. On Android, try the VPN app; results also depend on the network.
Can I choose a country in the web proxy?
This form opens sites through the web proxy service and has no country selector. VPN country selection is available in the Android app's server list.
Can a web proxy replace a VPN?
A web proxy may be enough for a quick page visit. A VPN is needed for app traffic; the proxy does not route the whole device. Website privacy policies and cookies still apply.
